The world is full of strange and unusual hotels, and CNN has completed a round-up of 15 such places, from New Zealand to Bolivia.
New Zealand is home to a 1950s Bristol Freighter plane that has two motel rooms that can sleep up to eight people. In Bolivia, the Palacio de Sal offers guests a hotel made using white rock salt. “Set on the eastern shore of the Great Salar de Uyuni, a vast expanse of white salt 3,650 metres above sea level, it’s great for stargazing and watching sunset colours reflect off the salt lake,” reads the CNN report.
Other interesting sites include Adrère Amellal, an Egyptian desert palace and Jules’ Undersea Lodge in Florida. [edition.cnn.com.]
