TORONTO — The Chelsea Hotel Toronto has named James Cushinan as its new director of Food and Beverage.

Cushinan previously worked at the Chelsea Hotel as the Food-and-Beverage services manager from 2012 to 2015. He then went on to work at the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel, the Marriott Teaneck Hotel in New Jersey and most recently, the Cluny Bistro & Boulangerie in Toronto’s Distillery District. In addition, Cushinan was a recipient of the Top 30-Under-30 Award through the Ontario Hostelry Institute, which is now a part of Kostuch Media’s portfolio.

“We’re delighted to welcome James back to the Chelsea Hotel,” says Josef Ebner, regional VP of Canada and managing director. “He’s a seasoned leader with extensive experience and well suited to lead our food-and-beverage team.”
