MONTREAL — The Centre d’Expertise of the Institut de Tourisme et d’Hôtellerie du Québec (ITHQ) is set to offer new training programs geared towards industry professionals.

This professional development program — Master Classes — is designed to transfer knowledge and know-how through teaching excellence. Courses will be directed at professionals, including managers of service organizations, restaurants, hotels and tourism businesses, as well as artisans of gastronomy. The program will feature short workshops, covering topics such as the latest management trends. “This major development program is the outcome of an in-depth study of the real needs of industry professionals seeking to hone their skills,” said Liza Frulla, P.C., director-general of the ITHQ. “Through our Master Classes, we will be hosting widely renowned educators who will transmit best industry practices with passion.”

The courses are developed in close collaboration with eminent ITHQ professors and will be offered starting in February 2016.
