BUFFALO, N.Y. — Fitness Ridge Worldwide, the parent entity of The Biggest Loser Resort, announced it will open its third destination resort in May in Java, New York.
“These award-winning, Biggest Loser-branded resorts give people a great chance to focus on their personal health and wellness and provide the tools needed to really commit to a healthy lifestyle,” said Larry Bond, CEO of Fitness Ridge Worldwide.
The Biggest Loser Resort – Niagara is set within a scenic 300-acre private setting, and features a conference centre, spa, swimming pool and fitness facilities.
In connection with this announcement, Fitness Ridge Worldwide is partnering with The Snyder Corp. to bring the next Biggest Loser Resort to the Java Center, N.Y.-based Beaver Hollow Conference Center as part of a multi-million expansion program at that facility.
The Biggest Loser Resorts cater to individuals of all ages and fitness levels and offer exercise, nutrition and education. The properties are inspired by NBC’s The Biggest Loser, a hit weight-loss reality series.
