WINNIPEG — Temple Hotels Inc. is capitalizing on the growing Yellowknife market by acquiring a six-year-old extended-stay property, the Nova Court hotel, for $21.6 million.
Upon completion of the deal on Dec. 31, Temple plans to inject $4.8 million into renovations for the 106-room hotel to add nine additional rooms on the first floor, and a 750-sq.-ft. breakfast room.
This marks the second property Temple owns in Yellowknife, including the 80-room Days Inn & Suites in downtown Yellowknife.
Nova Court is located at 476 Range Lake Rd., close to Yellowknife Airport.
