NIAGARA FALLS — A $500-million plan to build the tallest five-star hotel in Canada has been unanimously approved by city council, reports the QMI Agency.
“There is not really a five-star facility there, a high-end, all-encompassing resort with a restaurant and spa,” Hunter Milborne, a partner in the project told QMI. “But the demand is there.”
The hotel is purported to have two 60- and 61-storey towers with 966 guestrooms, a rooftop pool, restaurants, a spa, an observation platform and a karaoke bar.
