CALGARY — Calgary-based Superior Lodging Corporation has expanded its franchise-development portfolio to offer four additional by Wyndham hotel brands in the Canadian market — Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham, Wingate by Wyndham, Wyndham Garden and Ramada by Wyndham (Eastern Canada only).
With the addition of these four brands, Superior Lodging Corporation now offers a total of seven brands and 221 operating properties in the Canadian market. In addition, the company announced that Nigel Lucas has returned to the organization in the role of executive vice-president, Franchising & Development. Lucas will continue to oversee the Canadian marketplace for the Super 8 and Travelodge brands, while also serving as the main point of contact for the development of these four new brands.
