PARSIPPANY, N.J. — Super 8 Hotels is launching an end-of-summer “GR8 Escape” Sweepstakes to engage guests using social media and encourage member enrolment in its guest-loyalty program, Wyndham Rewards.

“With nearly 2,000 properties throughout the U.S. and Canada, the Super-8 brand is no stranger to helping travellers get on the road and have a great vacation,” said Heny Gabay, vice-president of Marketing for the Super-8 brand, which is part of the Wyndham Hotel Group. “This is our chance to say thank you to our loyal fans for choosing Super 8 hotels and give them a chance to end their summer on a high note.”

Wyndham Rewards members who visit and “like” can enter for their chance to win prizes, ranging from free weekend getaways to a new 2013 Ford Escape SE. The contest runs through Aug.31, with eight prize packages given away every week for three weeks.
