TORONTO — Starwood Hotels & Resorts Canada is supporting three Ride to Conquer Cancer events with lots of pedal power and fundraising success.
Under the leadership of Stephen Foster, SVP Operations for the Starwood Hotels & Resorts Canadian portfolio, 57 riders are participating in Rides in Toronto/Niagara, B.C. and Alberta. To date, the efforts have raised $136,583 with a goal to raise more than $150,000 by the time all rides have taken place at the end of June.
“Starwood’s company values include ‘play as a team’, ‘do the right thing’ and ‘go the extra step,’” says Foster. “During the rides this month, we’ll be pedalling the extra steps and doing our part to help find a cure.”
The Toronto to Niagara ride was this past weekend. Up next, is the Pacific Northwest Ride in Vancouver from June 18 to 19, followed by the Alberta Ride on June 25 and 26.
