TORONTO — Four Points Surrey has debuted in the Metro Vancouver area, becoming part of Starwood Hotels & Resorts’ portfolio of two Four Points-branded properties in the area.

The unit will be owned and operated by Fortis Hotels, based in St. John’s, N.L. “We’re proud to add Four Points Surrey to our rapidly expanding list of dynamic destinations across North America,” said Brian McGuinness, Global Brand Leader, Specialty Select Brands for Starwood. “On track to open its 30th hotel in Canada this summer, Four Points continues to win over travellers with its emphasis on stylish comfort and genuine service at an honest value.”

Starwood reports that it has 50 deals signed this year to open additional Four Points by Sheraton-branded hotels, and it’s on track to surpass 200 hotels worldwide this year.

The new Four Points Surrey will offer 77 guestrooms, a full-service dining concept called Citrus Restaurants, boardroom, fitness centre and free Wi-Fi.
