STAMFORD, Conn. — Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. and Uber have announced a new partnership that will give Starwood Preferred Guest members (SPG) who ride with Uber the opportunity to earn Starpoints.

With this new partnership, SPG members will earn one Starpoint for every US$1 spent on Uber rides. To kick off the partnership, on Saturday, Feb. 28, Uber riders who link their Starwood and Uber accounts can select the SPG #SuiteRide vehicle option to earn 15,000 Starpoints and a ride in a SPG-branded Uber car equipped with various hotel-branded amenities and gifts such as a Westin White Tea Travel Set, a St. Regis Bloody Mary book or an Aloft mini-refuel kit.
The global partnership is available in every market where Uber operates.
