TORONTO — The Sheraton Centre is celebrating World Pride by taking part in numerous activities to show support for the event taking place from June 20 to 29 in Toronto
“Our team at the Sheraton Centre is looking forward to welcoming the world to Toronto for World Pride,” said David Connor, area managing director, Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Eastern Canada. “We are proud to be participating in this important event celebrating diversity and tolerance.”
Earlier this month the hotel raised a rainbow-coloured flag, and the hotel lobby is being decorated in celebration of the special event. The hotel is also offering Pride signature cocktails and special rooms rates, starting at $239 per night.
The Sheraton hotel is a founding member of Travel Gay Canada and an active member of the International Gay Lesbian Travel Association, Pride at Work Canada, Rainbow High Travel and GayTravel.com.
The hotel is located minutes from Church Street, at the heart of Pride activities.
