NIAGARA-ON-THE-LAKE, Ont. — The Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ont.-based Shaw Club Hotel & Spa has won the 2014 Cintas Canada’s Best Restroom Contest for offering everything from an advanced clear-to-clouded glass-door technology to a glass infinity sink and feminine decor, all in a clean space.
“Each year we look for establishments [that embody] the importance of first impressions and the impact a clean and well-stocked restroom has on their business, and this year’s winner clearly demonstrates this critical message,” said Leslie Molin, senior marketing manager for Mississauga, Ont.-based Cintas Canada.
The 2014 finalists were selected based on cleanliness, visual appeal, innovation, functionality and unique design elements. Thousands of votes were cast online. Runners up included the Calgary Zoo in second place and the Vancouver Airport in third place.
