TORONTO/MONTREAL — Sageblan Investments Inc. is changing its name to Artifact Group Inc., effective immediately. The new name signifies the company’s commitment to timeless design, craftsmanship and enduring value.

Over the past few years, the company has acquired several award-winning properties in Canada and the U.S., including the Vogue Hotel Montreal, Curio Collection by Hilton, the first Curio Collection property in Canada and recognized by Hilton as the 2022 Curio Collection Conversion of the Year for the Americas; the soon to open Hotel Moco, Valleyfield (formerly Hotel Plaza Valleyfield); Hyatt Place Montreal Downtown, which was also recognized as the best Hyatt Place/Hyatt House conversion in the Americas; and the landmark Delta Hotels Quebec by Marriott, which is connected to the Congress Centre and an important business hub for the Quebec City region.

“We consider our properties to be valuable treasures, and ‘Artifact’ better describes our commitment to detail and quality,” says Gaurav Gupta, president, Artifact Group. “While our name is changing, our dedication to providing exceptional service for our guests, while prioritizing the well-being and growth of our employees as we continue to identify, acquire, and re-new properties remains steadfast. We look forward to continuing to create thoughtful and inspired spaces that stand the test of time under our new name.”
