CHEVY CHASE, Md. — The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company is the latest hotel company to introduce a sensory program to enhance the guest experience through custom fragrances in its hotels and resorts worldwide.

“First impressions at our properties are everlasting and set the stage for overall guest engagement and brand perception,” said Lisa Holladay, VP, Brand Management and Guest Experience for The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company.

According to the hotel company, people remember what they smell two times longer and more vividly than what they see or hear. A menu of custom scents was developed for each region that the brand operates.
