TORONTO — In honour of its sixth anniversary, The Ritz-Carlton, Toronto has launched a line-up of themed offerings for the Toronto International Film Festival.

The hotel’s DEQ Lounge and Ritz Bar will feature Toronto-inspired cocktails such as The 6, which features blended scotch whiskey, bitters, vanilla rooibos syrup, fine Italian vermouth and finished with Remy Martin Louis XIII Grande Champagne ($600).

Toca will offer a six-course tasting menu by Michelin-star chef Oliver Glowig. The menu — available Sept. 8 to 17 — will include seared Quebec foie gras with raspberry sorbet and pickled red onion; halibut with fava beans, peas, spring onion and artichoke chips; and 12-hour braised beef cheek with olive oil-mashed potatoes and leeks.

Throughout the 10-day festival, The Ritz-Carlton, Toronto will also feature specialty activities in its lobby such as a champagne garden, café, candy stations and complimentary make up touch-ups.
