Renaud Payette, hotelier and former GM of the InterContinental Toronto Centre, passed away on Sept. 7, in Kyoto, Japan. Payette had been working for the Ishin Hotel Group as general manager for the Kyoto Royal Hotel & Spa, as well as area director for Ishin’s West Japan Cluster.
A memorial is being held in Saint-Marc–sur Richelieu, Que. on Monday, Oct. 9 at the Auberge Handfield from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.
