TORONTO — Radisson Hotel Kitchen Waterloo has been recognized with the Responsible Business Award from Radisson Hotel Group Americas.

Every year, Radisson Hotel Group Americas recognizes its top-performing hotels and employees from each of its brands. The Radisson Hotel Group Americas Awards Ceremony is typically held during the company’s annual Americas Business Conference, which was cancelled this year to maintain the safety of all attendees. Instead, senior leaders brought the Awards Ceremony directly to hotel teams by going virtual.

During the ceremony, an award for community engagement was presented for the tireless efforts of hotel
associates to help the community through the pandemic, led by general manager, Nancy Keizer. The
Radisson Hotel Kitchener was the first to step up in Ontario during a pandemic to take care of those in
need. Thanks to its efforts, the city was able to keep COVID-19 numbers low and hospital visits reduced.

“Nancy, thank you for keeping the Palm Holdings culture alive. The community is always in the heart of
who we are, and you continue to embrace this with a YES, I CAN! attitude,” says Anil Taneja, managing
director, North America, Palm Holdings, the owner and management company of the Radisson Kitchener Hotel.
