TORONTO — Ross Perlmutter has resigned from his position as president and CEO of the Toronto-based Canadian Resort Development Association (CRDA), effective Oct. 10.

“After a tremendous deal of soul-searching, careful consideration and extensive interactions with CRDA’s new executive team, I have decided the time has finally arrived for me to take a step back from CRDA and to allow someone else to step forward to breathe new life into the Association,” said Perlmutter, who has held the position for the past five-and-a-half years.

Moving forward, Perlmutter plans to work on the marketing side of the industry, assisting developers in establishing new markets, helping suppliers and brokering new strategic relationships between industry leaders.
