WINDSOR, Ont. — The Ontario Restaurant Hotel Motel Association (ORHMA) Windsor and the Culinary Guild of Windsor (CCFCC) have partnered to celebrate our regional culinary and hospitality industry. On Oct. 23, the two associations will host a gala and awards ceremony at Essex Golf and Country Club in Windsor, Ont. to recognize the local industry’s shining stars.

The event will feature a cocktail hour sponsored by Sleeman Brewery, which will feature action stations maned by culinary students from St. Clair College. During this time, ORHMA Windsor will present awards for Restaurant of the Year, New Restaurant of the Year, Accommodation Facilities of the year and Supplier of the Year.

Following the awards presentation, the party will move to the dining room where chef John Kukucka and his team will present a five-course feast, featuring wine parings sponsored by Pelee Island Winery. During the meal, the Culinary Guild of Windsor will present awards for Central Region Chef of the Year and Lifetime Culinary Acheivement.
