ORHMA represents the interests of hotels and restaurants at the provincial and municipal levels. “Expanding our regions is an approach that will bring the industry closer, benefiting not only the local climate, but building a stronger voice in Ontario,” said Tony Elenis, president and CEO of ORHMA. “The Waterloo Region presents a quality hospitality product, and developing a presence in this vibrant region will help foster a strong industry.”

The Waterloo Region Board members include Billie Anne Arthur (secretary/treasurer), Cambridge Hotel and Conference Centre; Vanessa Stevenson (vice-chair), Homewood Suites by Hilton Cambridge Waterloo; Salim Mukadam (chair), Holiday Inn Kitchener-Waterloo Hotel and Conference Centre; Amanda Axt, Hilton Garden Inn Kitchener/Cambridge; Minto Schneider, Waterloo Regional Tourism Marketing Corporation; and Jason Shaw, Comfort Inn Waterloo.
