TORONTO — As Ontario begins moving into Stage Three of re-opening, gatherings — including meetings, conferences and social events — will be permitted in select municipalities. To understand how to best navigate operating meetings and events in the current climate, the Ontario Restaurant Hotel and Motel Association (ORHMA) has been working closely with industry leaders, multiple government agencies, technology experts, legal advisors and key supply partners to develop the Practical Guide for the Safe Re-Opening of Meeting & Events in Ontario.
As an addition to the DineSafe guide and website initiative, ORHMA has gathered resources for establishments operating event venues. By following these recommendations, operators can design safe and welcome spaces that inspire public trust, so the industry can not only survive but thrive.
