TORONTO — Ontario Restaurant Hotel Motel Association (ORHMA) and OHI’s Be Our Guest Program was honoured with the OTEC Workforce Innovation and Collaboration Award at TIAO’s 2024 Ontario Tourism Summit on October 23. The award was received by Dr. Jasveen Rattan, ORHMA’s Director of Policy & Government Relations, on behalf of the team.
“This achievement is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the incredible team at ORHMA and OHI, alongside the Be Our Guest founding committee, who have diligently worked to promote our amazing industry to the next generation,” states a release from OHRMA. “Thank you to everyone who has been part of this journey, the current and past students who have been part of this program, the school boards, teachers, parents who continuously show their support, and our employers who inspire our students to continue their journey in hospitality.”
