DALLAS — The Omni Hotels & Resorts team has announced that Peter Strebel, a veteran of the hospitality industry, has been named CMO and SVP of Sales.

“Peter’s passion and intellectual curiosity for customer acquisition will bring new innovation to the organization,” says Mike Deitemeyer, president of Omni Hotels & Resorts. “His unique ability to create an emotional connection for our brand coupled with his extensive operations experience will enhance the esprit de corps between sales and operations.”

A long-term Omni veteran, Strebel rejoined Omni in 2009 as area managing director and GM of the company’s flagship property in midtown Manhattan, Omni Berkshire Place. In his new role, Strebel will create and drive innovative branding, communications, marketing and business development strategies to increase awareness for the luxury hotel brand. Previously, Strebel was the SVP of Operations for Omni and oversaw the development of brand-wide property standards, guestrooms and other operational areas for the luxury hotel brand’s growing portfolio.
