PARSIPPANY, N.J. — Wingate by Wyndham hotels has introduced a prototype that is expected to reduce development costs by 10 per cent.

“Wingate by Wyndham has always been a consistent, value-driven brand, but we are continuously looking for ways to further evolve the experience for our guests,” said Bill Hall, brand SVP of Wingate by Wyndham. “Along with evolving the brand to keep it relevant in today’s marketplace, we are focused on giving our franchisees a high-performing, reliable product.”

The Parsippany, N.J.-based company’s new prototype features four floors with 99 newly designed guestrooms and a redesigned bathroom with a walk-in shower. The lobby has been transformed into a social meeting place with comfortable furniture, natural light, high-speed Internet and large flat-screen TVs. Additional features include an on-site market, board rooms and a fitness centre.

The new prototype will offer eco-friendly features such as LED lighting, low-flow fixtures and outdoor parking areas for car-charging stations.
