TORONTO — Anticipation is building for the Trump International Hotel & Tower Toronto, slated to open on Jan. 31, 2012.

The hotel has released a list of details to generate excitement for its offerings and services, including details on its 4,000 square foot presidential suite, which takes the title as the city’s largest and highest suite. A Chocolate Lab fixture in the kitchen will be manned by pastry chef David Chow, offering delicacies including sea salt and caramel chocolate toffee and homemade artisanal scones with pure Valhrona chocolate hazelnut confiture. The hotel’s restaurant, Stock, claims an extensive list of organic and biodynamic wines.

Crystal is a prominent feature inside the hotel, with more than 18,000 pieces imported from the Czech Republic, including a three-dimensional cherry blossom branch weighing 3,000 lbs. Another dazzling display is the porte-cochere featuring the work of Canadian artist Stephen Andrews, a series of 500,000 homemade tiles comprised of porcelain, glass, stone, and gold.
