MTN House by Basecamp

TORONTO — Online reservations have opened for bookings starting July 1 at MTN House by Basecamp, a luxury four-storey, 99-room hotel in Canmore, Alta.

Designed by MTA Urban Design, MTN House by Basecamp will feature a refined rustic aesthetic inspired by the local culture and natural wonders. Its main level will boast the company’s first food-and-beverage concept, Rhythm & Howl – an upscale restaurant, café and bar with a focus on sustainability and local ingredients, helmed by notable Canadian chef Jason Leizert.

The hotel’s spacious lobby lounge will feature a wood-burning fireplace, multiple work/seating areas, a large outdoor patio dining area, a vintage photo booth and chic espresso and cocktail bars. Elevated amenities for hotel guests include newly renovated guestrooms, premium bedding and furniture, in-room dining service, valet parking, a full-service front desk and concierge, communal hot tubs and complimentary cruiser bikes.

Additionally, MTN House by Basecamp will also be home to Canmore’s first ever premium Nordic spa, set to open in summer 2024. Offering premium hydrotherapy, dry and wet sauna and massage services, the spa will be open to hotel guests and day visitors.

“Canmore is one of Canada’s most charming mountain destinations with its epic views, endless outdoor adventures, vibrant local restaurant and shopping scene and friendly community. We are thrilled to be bringing MTN House by Basecamp’s hotel, restaurant and Nordic spa offering to Canmore, adding a luxurious travel experience to the landscape that will attract visitors from around the world,” says Sky McLean, founder and CEO, Basecamp Resorts. “MTN House by Basecamp will be one of Canmore’s finest luxury accommodations and the only one of its kind in the area offering an elevated food, beverage and Nordic spa experience. Our new property along with our dedication to providing top-notch service will be every bit worthy of a five-star rating.”
