MONTREAL — Hyatt Regency Hotel employees in Montreal took to the picket lines for a one-day strike yesterday, reports CBC News.
According to the CBC, the hotel’s employees walked off their jobs during contract negotiations. The workers were reportedly unsatisfied with shift hours. Hotel management assumed the worker’s tasks during the strike.
This news comes on the heels of the hotel’s public dispute with Unite Here, a union for the Hyatt employees in the U.S.
