WEYBURN, Sask. — The management at Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham, in Weyburn Sask., is teaming up with local businesses to give their guests an added experience.

“We want our guests to enjoy all that Weyburn has to offer while also ensuring they have a safe ride home. Boston Pizza owner, Garth Hilts, and I came up with the idea of getting our clients to and from our businesses safely with a taxi program that costs our hotel guests nothing,” says Andrew Arksey, GM, Microtel. “The program is a partnership between Microtel Inn & Suites, Boston Pizza and Country Cabs. It is a no-cost option for guests to get out and enjoy themselves while putting dollars into our local economy.”

The Microtel in Weyburn is the third hotel by Calgary-based MasterBuilt Hotels. Seventy-five Microtel by Wyndham hotels are expected to open in Canada in the next decade.
