Manoir Hovey Restaurant

NORTH HATLEY, Que. — Manoir Hovey’s Le Hatley Restaurant has received the coveted AAA Five Diamond Designation for the first time. This honour places Le Hatley among a group of only five Canadian restaurants to receive this accolade.

“We’re deeply honoured to receive the AAA’s Five Diamond Designation,” says Jason Stafford, managing director of Manoir Hovey. “This recognition reflects our team’s unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences. It motivates us to continue raising the bar and striving for excellence.”

Led by chef Alexandre Vachon, Le Hatley offers dishes that celebrate the bounty of Quebec with locally sourced ingredients. Drawing on his French-Canadian roots, chef Vachon skillfully crafts nature-inspired cuisine that pays homage to his heritage, bountiful land and the dedicated producers that surround him.

The AAA 5 Diamond Designation is a mark of excellence in the hospitality industry, awarded to establishments that meet the highest standards of service, quality, and hospitality. To earn it, restaurants must pass a rigorous evaluation including inspections and review by a panel of experts. There are roughly 60 restaurants on the AAA Five Diamond list, which represent the top one per cent of all restaurants listed.
