COLLINGWOOD, Ont. — The team at Living Water Resort & Residences in Collingwood, Ont. has committed to raising a minimum of $60,000 for the Collingwood Friends of Syrian Family Sponsorship program.
The resort is working closely with Elephant Thoughts, a locally based international charity, to raise funds to sponsor two Syrian families in Collingwood for one year. As of Dec. 1, resort employees had already raised more than $4,600, which includes matched donations from Living Water Resort’s owner and president, Larry Law.
“We are proud to be able to work with our team at the resort for this important cause, one that will help a number of families rebuild their lives. We can only achieve this by working together,” said Law. “We are happy to share this opportunity for all our staff to feel the joy of serving and giving to those less fortunate.”
