Amid a flurry of changes that are occurring on a daily basis with regard to the COVID-19, Kostuch Media Ltd. has undertaken a variety of measures to protect our staff and comply with safety precautions from the government  Firstly, as of March 12, our employees have been working remotely and will continue to do so until the time government advisories tell us it is safe to return to work. The health and safety of everyone is of the utmost concern. Our hours of operation remain the same.

Due to the safety concerns and the extreme measures we have all been living under, we have had to cancel our annual Housekeeping Forum, which was scheduled for March 30, 2020 at the Chelsea Hotel. We have also had to make the tough decision to reschedule our inaugural VISION 2020 conference, which was set to take place on April 21, 2020, to a later date. We will be announcing that new date as soon as possible. Lastly, we have had to reschedule the presentation of our Top-30-under-30 Awards, which was scheduled to be presented during that inaugural VISON 2020 conference. We will keep readers informed as to the new date of this presentation in the coming months.

In an effort to keep the foodservice and hospitality industry informed about the daily changes being fuelled by the COVID-19 pandemic, and the impact on the industry, as of March 16th, we have been producing Hospitality Headlines, our weekly digital e-newsletter, daily. The newsletter is free to anyone working in the industry so you can sign up on any of our three websites in order to keep up with what is an extremely fluid and unprecedented situation. Beyond that, KML is committed to doing whatever it can to help the industry as we deal with the effects of this global pandemic.

For more than 50 years, KML has been dedicated to keeping the industry informed and educated through our portfolio of magazines, digital newsletters and websites as well as important events. And, we will continue to do so, even during challenging times. Please let us know how we can help during the difficult days ahead.  And, let us know how your business is coping during this crisis, and what you’re doing to deal with it, so we can share that information with our readers.

The days ahead will continue to be challenging and it will take time, strength, patience and faith to return to some semblance of normalcy. But remember, this is a resilient industry that has had to deal with many challenges over the years. The foodservice and hospitality industry is also home to many strong, amazing and passionate individuals. Together, we will get through this.

Please know that we are here to help in whatever ways we can, and together we will emerge stronger and more resilient than ever. Stay strong and stay safe.
