REGINA — Alt Hotels reps are scouting potential locations for a new hotel in downtown Regina, according to the city’s Leader-Post.
“We’re following the markets that have the indicators that would sustain having a hotel like ours in the marketplace,” Hugo Germain, director of Development for Alt Hotels, told the Leader-Post. The company is purported to be moving forward with its expansion plans, with new builds in Halifax, Montreal and Winnipeg.
Alt Hotels, operated by Groupe Germain, currently has three properties in Canada — in Quebec City, Montreal, and Toronto. Company execs told the Leader-Post that, while the plans to open a hotel in Regina are in the works, a construction date has not yet been finalized.
