Royal Suite Living Room

TORONTO — The InterContinental Yorkville hotel in Toronto has unveiled the $12-million renovation of its guestrooms and corridors. The project encompassed 212 rooms over the course of approximately six months.

Designed by Canadian curator, EUNOIA Modern, the remodeled spaces use natural materials and textures and a neutral colour palette that allows the artwork and fine details to shine.

The guestroom design was highly focused on creating a luxurious guest bath and a beautiful, comfortable sleeping space. Geometric angular lines in the artwork and light fixtures as well as the print in the carpets are inspired by the architecture of the Royal Ontario Museum and the street grids of the Yorkville neighbourhood. Tailored details, luxe fabrics and the metal accents of the furniture give a nod to the surrounding iconic fashion boutiques of the shopping district.
