TORONTO — InnVest Hotels has acquired the 99-room Royal Canadian Lodge and the 65-room Charltons Banff in Alberta, increasing InnVest’s presence in the upscale and core upper-midscale hospitality segments and representing its first acquisition in the resort segment.
The hotels have spacious guestrooms and suites and offer more than 2,500 sq. ft. of functional space. They also provide luxurious amenities, including a spa, indoor heated pools and saunas, fitness space and food-and-beverage offerings. Over the next several years, both properties will undergo focused improvement plans and will operate the hotels under its internal management platform, InnVest Hotel Management Limited (IHML).
