TORONTO — InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) is opening a third hotel with Le Groupe Robin ownership group.

The 111-room, eco-friendly Holiday Inn Express & Suites Trois-Rivières hotel will be a LEED-certified property with 79 standard rooms and 32 suites — including eight business suites with private meeting space for up to six people. The hotel is equipped with the latest energy and cost-saving technologies, such as a large solar wall used to produce energy and power all exterior signage year-round.

The property will feature the Holiday Inn Express brand’s new design solution, which was created to meet the evolving needs of the brand’s target guest looking for a simple, smart travel experience.

“We are so pleased to have Le Groupe Robin add an additional property in Quebec,” says Jonathan Lund, regional VP, Canada, IHG. “They are known for quality properties and we are looking forward to continuing our great relationship with them.”

The hotel is set to open early 2018 in the heart of Trois-Rivières, centrally located between Montreal and Quebec City. The community has experienced growth over the last few years, making it a major business and leisure destination.
