ATLANTA — The InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) has introduced Even, its newest wellness-based hotel brand and eighth brand in its portfolio.

“The wellness sector continues to grow year over year, and the launch of Even Hotels will allow IHG to take advantage of this long-term trend. The U.S. represents two-thirds of IHG’s rooms today, and this exciting new brand will help us continue to grow our share in this important market,” said Kirk Kinsell, president, the Americas, IHG.

The wellness-themed hotel feature guestrooms designed for in-room workouts, hypoallergenic linens, natural lighting, LED dimmers, antibacterial wipes and work-ready rooms with Wi-Fi and ample desk space. The on-site guest services include advice on fitness, group exercises and nutritionally designed menus with a focus on natural, fresh and energizing meals.

Brand execs confirmed a capital investment of up to $150 million over the next three years and expect to sign contracts for 100 Even Hotels within the next five years.
