ATLANTA — The Atlanta-based InterContinental Hotels Group has expanded its portfolio in Western Canada with the opening of two hotels under the Holiday Inn Express umbrella.
The 99-room Holiday Inn Express Fort St. John is located just off the Alaska Highway in central Fort St. John, close to recreational facilities and activities, including the Pomeroy Sports Centre, Lake Point Golf & Country Club and Charlie Lake Provincial Park. It offers 1,000 square feet of meeting space.
The 103-room Holiday Inn Express Yorkton hotel in Saskatchewan is located at 63 7th Avenue North and features 21 suites, 1,100 square feet of meeting space and a boardroom. Located one kilometre from downtown, and within walking distance to Yorkton City Hall, the four-floor hotel is close to restaurants, the Deer Park golf course and the Gallagher Centre.
Both properties offer additional amenities, including a business centre, gym, indoor pool and hot tub. Complimentary newspapers and breakfast are provided.
