ATLANTA — The InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) has appointed five award-winning chefs as culinary ambassadors to develop signature dishes for hotel guests across Asia, the Middle East and Africa. The team includes Theo Randall (Italian), Ian Kittichai (Thai), Sam Leong (Chinese), Ross Lusted (modern Australian) and Dean Brettschneider (bakery and pastry).

Each culinary ambassador has created 20 recipes, ranging from appetizers to main courses and desserts. Guests can enjoy these dishes in select restaurants at InterContinental, Crowne Plaza and Holiday Inn hotels and resorts in the specified region.

“Our team is excited to be working with a culinary panel of this stature,” said Phil Broad, VP, Food and Beverage, Asia, Middle East and Africa for IHG. “These chefs are some of the best gastronomic minds in the culinary world. Our ambassadors will help us raise the bar and bolster our hotels’ reputation as world-class dining destinations.”

IHG operates more than 800 restaurants and bars in Asia, the Middle East and Africa with more than 240 hotels open across its five brands in the region.
