ATLANTA — IAHI, The Owners’ Association for InterContinental Hotel Group’s (IHG) 2011 Membership Survey has revealed its hotel owners are more optimistic about their property’s performance this year than last year.

The survey reveals owners are more focused on growth rather than debt service; they’re more involved in 2011 ‘Celebrate Service’ — a week-long initiative recognizing IHG team members around the world; and members are enthusiastic about employing sustainable practices.

IAHI, which represents more than 3,000 IHG hotels, surveys its members every year. The association was established in 1955 and encourages communication among IHG management about issues associated with a franchised hotel operation, including standards of operation, marketing and communications strategies.
