CHICAGO — The Hyatt Centric brand is continuing its expansion in popular hubs, including two new properties in Canada opening in 2026.
The Hyatt Centric Victoria – Old Town will be the first Hyatt-branded hotel in Victoria, B.C. Centrally located in Old Town Victoria, home to Canada’s oldest Chinatown, the hotel will offer 135 guestrooms and suites, as well as a restaurant, bar, lounge and coffee shop.
Additionally, the Hyatt Centric Winnipeg Downtown will offer a signature restaurant and bar and an open-concept lobby.
Hyatt Centric is a brand with full-service boutique style hotels located in prime destinations. They aim to connect guests with the action of the city, plus provide social spaces and bars and restaurants that serve as local hotspots. These properties will be the first of the Hyatt Centric hotels in Western Canada, joining the Hyatt Centric Montreal which is the only Canadian hotel currently open under the brand.
