MCLEAN, Va. — Great hospitality marketing does more than help put heads in beds, so the Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International (HSMAI) is recognizing its top 25 outstanding executives in the hospitality industry.

The 11th annual awards — part of the Adrian Awards to be held next month in New York — highlight creativity and innovation in the hospitality industry, such as sales or marketing campaigns and triumphs in challenging situations. “One of our favourite parts about the Adrian Awards is honouring our Top 25 recipients,” said Robert A. Gilbert, president and CEO of HSMAI, based in McLean, Va. “Every year, we’re inspired by their impressive accomplishments throughout their careers and their fervour to thrive in this industry. They’re game-changers, and we’re proud to celebrate their achievements.”

Some of this year’s winners include Christian Kuhn, VP Extended Stay Marketing, Homewood Suites and Home2 Suites, Hilton Worldwide; Theresa Lewis, VP Market Research, Wyndham Hotel Group; Glen MacDonell, managing director, Loyalty & Partnership Marketing, Best Western International; Joey Martin, director of Promotional Marketing, Choice Hotels International; Kasey O’Leary, senior director Multi-Brands & HHonors Marketing, Hilton Worldwide; Andrew Rubinacci, VP, Distribution Strategy, InterContinental Hotels Group; and Steve Enselein, VP Catering & Convention Services – Americas, Hyatt Hotels Corporation.

The Adrian Awards will take place at the New York Marriott Marquis Feb. 24, followed by a Digital Marketing Strategy Conference Feb. 25.
