Hotels on the West coast in the U.S. are cashing in on the best-seller novel by E.L. James called “50 Shades of Grey” by offering special promotions to entice guests to stay at their properties, reports ABC News.

The Heathman Hotel in Portland, mentioned in the book, is offering Fifty Shades amenities including a bottle of white wine, a helicopter ride through Portland and a dinner at the hotel’s restaurant.

Seattle, Washington-based Hotel Max is also offering a 50 Shades package that include a two-night stay at the luxury suite in the hotel, town car service, sailing excursion, helicopter tour of Seattle, gourmet picnic and a bottle of Bollinger Grande Anne Champagne, a preferred beverage of choice of Mr.Grey who is a main character in the novel.

Special promotions and packages like these may help hoteliers increase occupancy and cash flow.
