TORONTO — After a series of delays, The Library Hotel Collection’s Hotel X, at Toronto Exhibition Place, has begun welcoming guests as part of a soft launch.

Hotel X Toronto is divided into three buildings: the 30-storey hotel tower, Ten X Toronto and the historic Stanley Barracks. The hotel was designed to fit the vibrant local community and is driven by environmentally sustainable practices and eco-friendly initiatives.

While the hotel is “in preview,” most guestrooms and ballrooms, the Library Club Lounge and the on-site Starbucks are open and available to guests. Additional amenities will be launched throughout the spring and summer, with the hotel spa set to open in the fall.

Once all facilities are open, Hotel X guests and Ten X Toronto members will have access to a 90,000-sq.-ft. athletic facility and spa, including terraces and outdoor spaces, as well as a rooftop pool. Facilities include nine squash courts, four indoor tennis courts and a fitness centre. Guests and members will also have access to the Pond at Falcon SkyBar — a year-round 50-ft. heated swimming pool located on the 28th floor of the hotel tower.

Dining options will include Maxx’s Kitchen and a Nespresso Café — both slated to open mid-April. The property is also set to feature The Beer Garden at Stanley Barracks, a self-serve fresh market and Petros 82 — a Mediterranean estiatorio with a garden view.
