QUEBEC CITY — Starwood’s newly launched Tribute brand — its 10th brand, comprising a collection of independent hotels — will make its debut in Quebec City next year. Hotel Pur Quebec will be managed by Crescent Hotels & Resorts.
The 242-room property, formerly a Tryp by Wyndham, will undergo a complete makeover before opening as the new Hotel Pur Quebec. Located in Quebec City’s burgeoning Saint Roch neighbourhood, the hotel design will be inspired by Parisian-style cafés and authentic northern Quebecois ambiance. It will also include the on-site restaurant, Table, which offers Asian and American fare with small plates and tapas.
“It’s been truly exciting to be part of Saint Roch’s resurgence, and we are thrilled to help drive even more awareness around this emerging neighbourhood through our strong relationship with Starwood,” says Anthony Cohen, EVP and partner, Crescent Hotels & Resorts. “Hotel Pur Quebec blends the eccentricities and independent spirit of the Tribute Portfolio brand, delivering an old-world spirit with a modern twist for travellers seeking to experience a newer side of Quebec City.”
