MILAN — The 41st edition of the HostMilano exhibition is kicking off this fall at the Fieramilano Exhibition Centre in Milan, Italy from October 18 to 20, 2019 and is expected to draw more than 2,100 displays, performances and exhibits from more than 50 countries. 

The weekend will focus on innovation and sustainability in the foodservice and hospitality sector with the focal point of the exhibition being the SMART Label, Host Innovation awards, which are given out to projects that are outstanding blends of function, innovation and user benefits. 

This year, 47 cutting-edge projects have been selected and will be critiqued and voted on by an international panel of expert judges headlined by renowned Italian pastry chef Iginio Massari. 

In addition to the awards, there will be hundreds of demos for attendees, including national and international championships, cooking demos starring decorated chefs, mouth-watering creations from pastry chefs and cake designers and performances by the best baristas and bartenders.

The weekend’s agenda is headlined by events from all sectors of the industry, such as the Italian Coffee Bar Grand Prix, Cake Designers World Championship, World Trophy of Pastry, Ice Cream and Chocolate, the World Latte Art Championship and live bars featuring some of the world’s premier flair bartenders.
