CALGARY — The new Calgary Airport Hotels & Conference Centre, Hilton Worldwide’s first three-flag hotel development in Canada, has a new GM.

Marcel Berube has been appointed the GM. He will oversee the operations of the 135-room Hampton Inn, and 122-room Homewood Suites, both scheduled to open later this year. Berube will report to Thomas Loughlin, VP, Hilton Worldwide. Previously Berube was the GM of the Radisson Calgary Airport, and prior to that, he was the GM of the Quality Hotel & Conference Centre in Fort McMurray, Alta.

“Calgary Airport Hotels and Conference Centre creates a significant hotel presence for the Hilton system in Canada and Marcel’s proven track record in the Calgary market paves the way for our success,” said Loughlin. “We are delighted to welcome Marcel to Hilton and look forward to providing a broad range of hospitality experiences for business and leisure travellers alike.”
