Hilton Garden Inn and Homewood Suites by Hilton, Ottawa Downtown

OTTAWA — The Hilton Garden Inn and Homewood Suites, Ottawa Downtown has announced several additions to its hospitality sales team.

Leslie Ann Palamar is the dual-branded hotel’s new director of Sales and Marketing. She brings more than 25 years of hospitality and tourism sales, sales training and public relations experience to the role. Palamar has worked with such as Sheraton, Delta and Ramada.

Monica Hailstone joins the property as senior Sales manager and will be responsible for the Corporate and Association markets. She was most recently regional director for the Association of Corporate Travel Executives, overseeing U.S., Canada and Latin America, where her responsibilities included business development, lead generation, marketing and strategic planning.

Julie Aziz and Laura Dimic have joined the team as Sales managers. Aziz will work with the First Nations and Government markets, while Dimic will be responsible for the Tour-and-Travel, Sports and Extended Stay markets.

Jenna Bodnoff is the property’s Conference Services manager. She was previously Catering and Events manager at Big Rig Kitchen and Brewery where she played an integral role in the development of the company’s off-site catering, as well as corporate events.

As Sales coordinator, Pascale Bélanger, will be responsible for data management and coordination of lead-generation tools, as well as creating and managing office procedures and interdepartmental communications.

The Hilton Garden Inn and Homewood Suites, Ottawa Downtown is set to open in fall of 2018 and will feature 346 guestrooms and suites, a restaurant, bar, pool, fitness centre, meeting rooms and business centre.
