MCLEAN, Va. — Hilton has appointed of Colette Baruth as vice-president and commercial director for All-Inclusive Hotels & Resorts in the Americas. Baruth will lead a newly formed cross-functional commercial team that will share direct reporting lines with sales, marketing, distribution and regional sales.

“With an expanding all-inclusive footprint, we knew we needed a leader with both extensive experience and a true understanding of the complexities and uniqueness of this category,” says Chris Wilroy, senior vice-president & commercial director, Americas, Hilton. “Colette’s background made her the perfect fit. We’re thrilled to add her results-driven leadership and hands-on approach to implementing innovative, best practice global strategies and initiatives to this critical piece of the Hilton portfolio.”

Hilton’s all-inclusive portfolio includes key properties such as Hilton Playa Del Carmen, an All-Inclusive Resort; Hilton La Romana, an All-Inclusive Family Resort; and Hilton La Romana, an All-Inclusive Adult Resort. Additionally, Hilton will welcome its newest all-inclusive resorts, The Yucatan Resort Playa del Carmen, Tapestry Collection by Hilton and Hilton Cancun, an All-Inclusive Resort, expected to open later this year.

Most recently, Baruth served as senior vice-president, Global Commerce and Distribution for the Americas with AMResorts, and previously, acted as vice-president of Global Product Development, Latin America, for Flight Centre Travel Group USA.
