OTTAWA — The Hotel Association of Canada (HAC) announced its support of the launch of the Faster, Together last week. The initiative aims to support vaccine confidence in Canada. This private-sector “coalition of the willing” is comprised of more than 100 national organizations, including HAC.

“Vaccine hesitancy has been identified as a potential barrier to restarting Canada’s tourism economy and the economy at large,” said HAC president Susie Grynol in the release. “The Faster, Together initiative brings together significant business organizations, celebrities and physicians to address the approximately 20 per cent of Canadians who are hesitant to be vaccinated with the simple message: the faster we all get vaccinated, the faster we can all get our lives back to normal.”

Faster, Together has created a warehouse of free creative assets that partner organizations can access in order to help support vaccine confidence among their staff, colleagues, friends and communities and HAC is making this warehouse available to its membership.

“To support this effort, please share the materials on your social-media accounts and utilize the creative assets on available advertising spaces and newsletter banner placements,” reads the release. “And of course, if you haven’t already — please make your appointment to be vaccinated as soon as it’s available to you so we can get back to the people and places we love, faster.
